Arrivée de Félix Tshisekedi à Lubumbashi : Miguel Kashal Katemb appelle la population à lui réserver un accueil chaleureux
The Katangese notable believes that the strong mobilization observed in Kamina, where the President of the Republic inaugurated this Thursday the Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi Hospital, built by the builders of the National Service, illustrates the attachment of the Katangese population to the President of the Republic.
“The city of Kamina has just demonstrated that this worthy son of the country is loved by the Katangese population, who have noted that, thanks to his commitment, the Head of State has been able to transform the 4 provinces resulting from the dismemberment of the former Katanga through the construction of major road, hospital, airport, school infrastructures as well as public buildings,” wrote Miguel Kashal Katemb.
In his message, he takes stock of the main achievements undertaken since 2019 in Haut-Katanga. He cites in particular the reconstruction of the urban roads of Lubumbashi and Likasi, the creation of bypass roads, the construction of the Sakania-Mokambo-Kasumbalesa road and the modern Lukangaba border post, as well as the ongoing work on the Kasomeno-Kasenga road and the Chalwe bridge, intended to connect the DRC to Zambia.
Miguel Kashal Katemb also discusses the construction site of the Luano international airport, the construction of the headquarters of the Haut-Katanga Provincial Assembly, the new Lubumbashi courthouse and the modern Tshisekedi Tshilombo Hospital Center (CHTT). He also recalls the creation of several special economic zones intended to strengthen industrial activities in the province.
Furthermore, the Katangese notable underlines that the province of Lualaba is experiencing “a new surge of development”, marked in particular by the construction of a new international airport, several public buildings as well as road infrastructure.
With regard to Haut-Lomami and Tanganyika, it highlights the achievements of the Local Development Program for the 145 territories (PDL-145T), in particular the construction of health centers and schools, the improvement of access to drinking water as well as the extension of electrical energy service.
For Miguel Kashal Katemb, the construction of the modern Denise Nyakeru Hospital, inaugurated in Kamina by the President of the Republic, testifies to the commitment of Félix Antoine Tshisekedi in favor of the reconstruction and development of the provinces from Greater Katanga.

Le notable katangais estime que la forte mobilisation observée à Kamina, où le président de la République a inauguré ce jeudi l’Hôpital Denise Nyakeru Tshisekedi, construit par les bâtisseurs du Service national, illustre l’attachement de la population katangaise au Président de la République. « La ville de Kamina vient de démontrer que ce digne fils du pays est aimé par la population katangaise, qui a constaté que, grâce à son engagement, le chef de l’État a su transformer les 4 provinces issues du démembrement de l’ancien Katanga à travers la construction de grandes infrastructures routières, hospitalières, aéroportuaires, scolaires ainsi que d’édifices publics », a écrit Miguel Kashal Katemb. Dans son message, il dresse le bilan des principales réalisations entreprises depuis 2019 dans le Haut-Katanga. Il cite notamment la reconstruction de la voirie urbaine de Lubumbashi et de Likasi, la création de routes de contournement, la construction de la route Sakania-Mokambo-Kasumbalesa et du poste frontalier moderne de Lukangaba, ainsi que les travaux en cours sur la route Kasomeno-Kasenga et le pont Chalwe, destiné à relier la RDC à la Zambie. Miguel Kashal Katemb évoque également le chantier de l’aéroport international de Luano, la construction du siège de l’Assemblée provinciale du Haut-Katanga, du nouveau Palais de justice de Lubumbashi et du Centre hospitalier moderne Tshisekedi Tshilombo (CHTT). Il rappelle aussi la création de plusieurs zones économiques spéciales destinées à renforcer les activités industrielles dans la province. Par ailleurs, le notable katangais souligne que la province du Lualaba connaît « un nouvel élan de développement », marqué notamment par la construction d’un nouvel aéroport international, de plusieurs bâtiments publics ainsi que d’infrastructures routières.
