Aleppo, July 30 (SANA)Syrian Civil Defense teams of theEmergency and Disasters ManagementDirectorate inAleppo northern provincecontinued on Thursday their intensive efforts to put out a major fire that broke out at a potato processing factory on Manbij–Jarablus road in the eastern countryside of the province.

The Civil Defense said on its Telegram channel that three firefighting teams responded to the incident and worked to contain and bring the blaze under control despite the presence of large quantities of highly flammable materials, particularly cardboard used for packaging inside the factory.

It added that the teams made intensive efforts to prevent the fire from spreading to nearby sections and facilities, while carrying out continuous cooling operations to ensure that all remaining hotspots were fully extinguished.
