Tartous, July 30 (SANA)A tanker carrying 37,646 metric tons ofgasolinehas arrived at Syria’sBaniyas oil terminal, the Ministry of Energy said on Thursday, as authorities seek to strengthen fuel supplies and maintain stable deliveries to the domestic market.

Technical crews have begun unloading the cargo in accordance with operational procedures, the ministry said in a statement posted on its Telegram channel, adding that the shipment is intended to reinforce fuel reserves and ensure the continued distribution of gasoline to provinces across the country.

The delivery is the latest in a series of fuel shipments aimed at supportingSyria’senergy supply network. On July 27, the Baniyas terminal received a tanker carrying 64,324 metric tons of fuel oil and another transporting 5,620.3 metric tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).

The ministry said it is continuing efforts to strengthen the reliability of the national fuel supply system and ensure petroleum products reach all governorates while adhering to operational safety and efficiency standards.

The latest shipment comes as regional tensions continue to drive higher oil prices and slow global supply chains, increasing pressure on energy-importing countries to secure stablefuel supplies.
