HE the President of the Republic, José Antonio Kast, held a meeting with the Minister of Finance, Jorge Quiroz; the Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, Iván Poduje; the Undersecretary of Public Works, Nicolás Balmaceda; local authorities, and the head of the National Defense for the province of Huasco. The meeting addressed the situation of the province, which is under a state of constitutional emergency of catastrophe, along with the actions developed by the different public organizations and institutions deployed in the territory. The meeting made it possible to strengthen coordination between the central government, local authorities and the National Defense Headquarters, with the aim of articulating the State's response, addressing the needs of the population and advancing the measures required to confront the emergency.Likewise, the authorities reviewed priorities in terms of infrastructure, housing and availability of resources, strengthening joint work between ministries, public services and teams deployed in the province of Huasco.
