Commander-in-Chief Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi Visits Popular Mobilization Commission Headquarters and Directs Support for Martyrs’ Families and Care for the Wounded ••••• Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi visited the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Commission today, Wednesday, where he met with the Chairman of the Popular Mobilization Commission, along with a number of its senior commanders and security officials. The Commander-in-Chief received a detailed briefing on the attacks carried out against Iraq in the early hours of today, which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of a number of service members of the Popular Mobilization Commission across several provinces. The Commander-in-Chief directed that the families of the martyrs be honored, comprehensive healthcare be provided to the wounded, and all necessary measures be taken to ensure they receive the required medical treatment, including transferring them abroad for treatment if their medical condition so requires. ••••• Media Office of the Prime Minister July 29, 2026
