Presidente Abinader visitará tres provincias La Vega, La Altagracia y La Romana este jueves
Santo Domingo.–President Luis Abinader will develop this Thursday a work agenda in the provinces of La Vega, La Altagracia and La Romana, which includes the inauguration of works, participation in development and commemorative activities, as well as the promotion of drinking water projects for the benefit of citizens.
The president in La Vega will be present at the opening of Expo Vega Real 2026, in Bayahíbe he will deliver a detachment of the Dominican Navy, and in La Romana he will inaugurate a new ITLA center, a sports center, he will give the first ground for drinking water works and he will participate in the commemorative events of the 125th anniversary of the founding of the municipality.
The day will begin at 10:30 in the morning with the participation of the president in the opening ceremony of the Expo Vega Real 2026, which will be held at the Country Club of La Vega, one of the main stages to promote production, trade and economic development of the Northern region.
Then, the president will travel to the municipality of San Rafael del Yuma, where he will lead the inauguration of a modern complex and detachment of the Dominican Republic Navy in Bayahíbe, as part of the strengthening of the infrastructure intended for the security and protection of the area.
The ruler will continue his work agenda in the province of La Romana, where he will participate in the commemorative events of the 125th anniversary of the founding of the municipality, a celebration that highlights the history, development and contribution of this district to the economic, tourist and cultural growth of the Dominican Republic.
Later, the head of state will inaugurate the new building of the Technological Institute of the Americas (ITLA) in La Romana, a work that will expand technological training opportunities for young people in the province and the region.
The agenda will continue with the inauguration of the Club San Martín de Porres Sports Center and will conclude with the first milestone for the construction of the supply lines that will benefit the sectors of Caleta, Romana Oeste and Vista Catalina, an initiative aimed at strengthening the drinking water supply system in that district.
