A meeting of the Organizing Committee was conducted under the leadership of Tanzila Narbayeva, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, to ensure thorough preparations and high-level organization of the event.

During the meeting, preparations for the inaugural conference in Uzbekistan were reviewed. Participants discussed various organizational measures to ensure the forum’s success and outlined steps to secure extensive media coverage.

During the Organizing Committee meeting, Tanzila Narbayeva highlighted that choosing Uzbekistan for this major international forum demonstrates the country’s strong reputation and acknowledges the ongoing parliamentary reforms led by the Head of State, as well as sustained efforts to develop the national parliament.

The conference agenda covers topics such as safeguarding young people’s rights during conflicts and digital changes, broadening their political chances, securing their economic rights and jobs, and preventing violence against women and youth. Additionally, the forum will feature a month-long campaign focused on the Sustainable Development Goals.

Following the Organizing Committee meeting, which included representatives from ministries, agencies, organizations, and institutions, key tasks were identified to guarantee thorough preparations and an excellent organization of the conference.
