Aleppo, July 29 (SANA)SyrianInternal Security Forceshave arrested several ISIS members during coordinated raids inAleppo province, the Interior Ministry said Tuesday.

In a statement published on its Telegram channel, the ministry said the operation was carried out jointly by the Internal Security Forces and the General Intelligence Service in the city of Aleppo and surrounding areas.

According to the ministry, the raids targeted suspectedISIS hideoutsin the city of Aleppo and the town of al-Bab, where security forces seized explosives, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), and a cache of weapons.

The ministry said the operation was part of ongoing efforts to dismantle ISIS networks and prevent future attacks. It added that thesecurity agencieshad recently foiled several alleged plots planned by the militant group.
