Damascus, July 28 (SANA)Foreign Minister, Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani, held a telephone conversation on Tuesday with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Ayman Safadi.

During the call, both sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries and follow up on the work of theJoint Syrian-Jordanian Council.

The two ministers also exchanged views on the latest regional developments and issues of mutual concern.

Minister al-Shaibaniaffirmed Syria’s full solidarity with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in confronting threats to its security and stability.
