During the February 6 earthquakes, we saw that many different groups of people, including social media phenomena, artists, actors, journalists and politicians, were involved in a war of attrition, and joined forces as if a button was pressed from the same center. As a state, we had to help our disaster victims with all our resources, and on the other hand, we had to fight the disinformation spread by these circles. The information and documents that have been revealed in recent weeks clearly show us what happened during the February 6 earthquakes, which buried more than 53 thousand lives, what tricks were played, what operations were pulled on the state and the nation, and how people without manners who had never set foot in the earthquake zone sang ghazals externally. Who has distorted relationships with whom is revealed one by one. At the same time, they are held accountable by our judiciary. Those who used the earthquake for political and economic opportunism are being held accountable to justice today. First of all, I would like you to know this: We will definitely do whatever is necessary on legal grounds to ensure that "abuse is not a precedent". We are extremely determined on this. No matter where it leads, from now on, we will not allow those who seek help from tension, polarization, and spreading fear and anxiety in this country to use the means at their disposal as a weapon against the state.

6 Şubat depremleri sürecinde sosyal medya fenomeni, sanatçısı, oyuncusu, gazetecisi, siyasetçisiyle çok farklı kesimlerin bir yıpratma savaşına müdahil olduğunu, âdeta aynı merkezden düğmeye basılmışçasına topa girdiğini gördük. Devlet olarak bir taraftan tüm imkânlarımızla afetzedelerimizin yardımına koşarken diğer taraftan da bu çevrelerce köpürtülen dezenformasyonla mücadele etmek zorunda kaldık. Son haftalarda ortaya dökülen bilgi ve belgeler, 53 binden fazla canımızı toprağa verdiğimiz 6 Şubat depremleri sürecinde neler yaşandığını, hangi oyunların çevrildiğini, devlete ve millete hangi operasyonların çekildiğini, deprem bölgesine ayak basmamış terbiye yoksunu tiplerin nasıl hariçten gazel okuduğunu hepimize çok net biçimde gösteriyor. Kimlerin kimlerle hangi çarpık ilişkiler içinde olduğu tek tek ortaya çıkıyor. Aynı zamanda bunların hesabı yargımız tarafından soruluyor. Depremi kullanarak siyasi ve ekonomik fırsatçılık yapanlar bugün adalete hesap veriyor. Bir defa şunun bilinmesini isterim: “Suimisalin emsal olmaması” için hukuk zemininde ne gerekiyorsa mutlaka yapacağız. Bunda son derece kararlıyız. Ucu nereye varırsa varsın, bundan böyle bu ülkede gerilimden, kutuplaşmadan, korku ve kaygı yaymaktan medet umanların ellerindeki imkânları devlete karşı bir silah olarak kullanmalarına fırsat vermeyeceğiz.
