Damascus, July, 27 (SANA) The Syrian Arab Republic strongly condemned the attempteddrone attacktargeting oil facilities in the sisterly Kingdom ofSaudi Arabia, which was carried out by Iran-backed militias operating from Iraqi territory.

In a statement, theMinistry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriatesdescribed the attack as a violation of the Kingdom’s security and stability and warned that such acts pose a threat to regional security.

The ministry reiterated Syria’s solidarity with the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures adopted to safeguard its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.

The statement also reaffirmed Syria’s call for respect for the sovereignty of states and the rejection of all actions that could undermine security and stability across the region.
