PAC-2 and PAC-3 missiles are not offensive missiles. We found money in Europe to buy them in the US, but we don't have enough of these missiles. This is a problem because the sanctions against Russian military production have not been sufficient and they may increase the production of ballistic missiles. That is why we need to provide air defense as soon as possible. There is a shortage due to the situation in the Middle East. I am trying to solve this issue together with Europeans, Americans and some other countries. Ukrainian domestic production allows us to shoot down drones and many other things, but we cannot shoot down ballistics. Undoubtedly, we are on the way to creating a European anti-ballistic air defense system. But it takes time. President Trump approved the granting of licenses to Ukraine for the production of missiles for "patriots". But this does not mean that we have made a decision and filled our warehouses with hundreds of such interceptors. It doesn't work like that. We in Ukraine can work very quickly. Since the first years of this war, I have been appealing to the Americans and Europeans for licenses. Not forever, but only for the duration of this war. We will increase production and we will share. We will not sell to anyone else - only for the needs of Ukraine and for our partners, if they need it. For example, who knew about the Middle East?
