Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi Chairs the Fourth Regular Session of the Ministerial Council for Energy ••••• Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi chaired, today, Sunday, the fourth regular session of the Ministerial Council for Energy for 2026, attended by the Council’s members. During the session, the Council reviewed the financial study on the inputs and outputs of the petroleum products refining and distribution sectors, prepared by the Economic Department at the Ministry of Oil. The study included indicators and assessments that contribute to enhancing the efficiency of sector management and improving its overall performance. The Prime Minister directed the preparation of advanced models for developing the oil sector based on international best practices, with the aim of improving production, refining, and distribution processes, maximizing revenues, and increasing the efficiency of resource investment, in line with the government’s vision for developing the energy sector and strengthening its role in supporting the national economy. ••••• Media Office of the Prime Minister July 26, 2026
