On the eve of the professional holiday, he honored our medical workers with state awards and handed over awards to the families of deceased medics who received awards. Today, Ukrainian doctors are an example for all of us and for the whole world - your steadfastness, your dedication to the cause. Despite the extremely difficult conditions, the constant colossal workload, you continue to work, and every day of your life is the saved lives of Ukrainians, and it is the development of our medicine. We are developing a rehabilitation system that will definitely be one of the strongest in Europe. Hundreds of relevant medical institutions are already operating in Ukraine. Our medics conduct more than 17,000 therapeutic sessions every day - six times more than at the beginning of this war. We are building a modern mental health system. Thank you to everyone who helps our people go through losses, anxiety, exhaustion and the consequences of war. We are developing a transplantation system. Already since the beginning of this war, teams of our doctors have carried out almost two and a half thousand transplants. It's not just statistics - it's all about people who got a chance at life. Our teams, which provide evacuation after injuries from different directions of the front, saved more than 80 thousand people.
