Occupied Jerusalem, July 26 (SANA)ThePalestinian presidencywarned on Sunday of escalating attacks byIsraeli settlersand Israeli occupation forces across theWest Bank, while the Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned attacks on civilians and places of worship, saying they were carried out under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.According to the Palestinian News and Information Agency (WAFA), presidential spokesperson Nabil Abu Rudeineh said settler attacks across theWest Bankhad resulted in the burning of two mosques and one home, assaults on Palestinian residents, damage to property and the establishment of two new settlement outposts.He held Israel’s far-right government fully responsible for the attacks, and urged the international community, particularly the United Nations Security Council, to intervene immediately to stop what he described asIsraeli aggressionand settler violence and to provide protection for the Palestinian people.In a separate statement, the Palestinian Foreign Ministry condemned the burning of Al-Rahma Mosque in Qusra, south of Nablus, and another mosque in Kur village, south of Tulkarm, where settlers also wrote racist and inflammatory slogans on the walls.The ministry said the attacks formed part of a broader pattern of organized violence against Palestinians, including road closures, assaults on civilians, and the burning and vandalism of homes and vehicles, adding that the attacks were carried out with the protection and support of Israeli occupation forces.It warned that attacks on mosques and other places of worship, along with racist graffiti, reflected attempts to transform the political conflict into a religious one. The ministry called on theUnited Nationsand the international community to take practical measures to halt settler attacks and impose sanctions on those responsible and those supporting them.The ministry also said that more than 3,000 Israeli settlers, led by Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, entered theAl-Aqsa Mosquecompound under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.Earlier on Sunday, Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of raids across the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, arresting 45 Palestinians as settler attacks continued, according to WAFA.
