Israeli occupation forces detain civilian in Quneitra incursion
Quneitra, July 26 (SANA)Israeli occupation forces on Sunday carried out a new incursion into al-Samdaniyah al-Gharbiyah village in the northern countryside ofQuneitra, where they raided a house and detained a civilian before withdrawing from the area.
SANA’s correspondent in Quneitra reported that the force, consisting of several military vehicles, entered the village and carried out the raid before leaving the area with the detainee.
Earlier Sunday, Israeli occupation forces shelled the outskirts of the village of Taranja in the northern Quneitra countryside.
Israel continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria and attacks against civilians, including raids, arrests, land bulldozing, and artillery shelling.
Syria has repeatedly called for the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation from its territory, stressing that all measures taken by the occupation authorities are null and void and have no legal effect under international law. It has also called on the international community to uphold its responsibilities and compel Israel to fully withdraw from southern Syria.
