Occupied Jerusalem, July 26 (SANA)Israeli occupation forces arrested 45 Palestinians from various areas of the occupied West Bank and occupied Jerusalem on Sunday, while settlers escalated attacks against Palestinians and their property in several governorates, according to thePalestinianNews and Information Agency (WAFA).

WAFA reported that occupation forces arrested 24 Palestinians in Nablus Governorate and 14 others, including a woman, in Tulkarm Governorate.

The arrests also included one Palestinian from the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, west of Salfit, another from al-Fawwar refugee camp south of Hebron, two Palestinians from Jenin, a Palestinian and his sister from the area east of Tubas, and another Palestinian from the town of Abu Dis, east of occupied Jerusalem.

In a related development, settlers intensified attacks on Palestinians and their property across several governorates in the occupiedWest Bank.

In Tulkarm Governorate, settlers set fire to parts of a mosque in Kur village, south of the governorate, damaged its contents and spray-painted racist slogans on its walls.

In Nablus Governorate, settlers burned a mosque under construction in the town of Qusra and set fire to a Palestinian home in Beit Furik, east of the city.

In Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate, several Palestinian workers sustained injuries and bruises after settlers attacked a stone-cutting factory in the Ein Samia area, east of Kafr Malik. The attackers also set fire to heavy machinery inside the facility.

In Umm Safa village, northwest ofRamallah, settlers raided the Wadi al-Zaytoun area south of the village and erected tents there.

In Hebron Governorate, armed settlers stormed the eastern outskirts of the town of Idhna under the protection of Israeli occupation forces in an attempt to prevent Palestinian farmers from reaching the al-Jalabiya area.

According to WAFA, settlers also destroyed a water network in al-Minya village, south of Bethlehem, and attacked Palestinians attempting to repair it by throwing stun grenades.

On Friday, four Palestinians were killed and others injured after Israeli occupation forces opened fire during a settler raid on the village of Tal, southwest of Nablus, in the occupied West Bank.
