Homs, July 26 (SANA)Interior MinisterAnas Khattaband Presidential Adviser for Religious Affairs Abdul Rahim Atoun visited Al-Walid Hospital andHomsAl-Kabir Hospital in Homs Governorate on Sunday to check on the condition of civilians and Internal Security Forces personnel injured in Saturday’s fatal traffic accident on theDeir Ezzor–Damascus highway.

According to the Ministry of Interior, the minister and the presidential adviser, accompanied by medical staff, reviewed the condition of the injured and the medical care being provided to them.

They affirmed that all available resources had been mobilized to ensure the continuation of treatment and to closely monitor the patients’ condition until they make a full recovery.

A traffic accidenton the Deir Ezzor–Damascus highway on Saturday left 35 people dead and 30 others injured, according to a preliminary toll.
