SNS iniciará la próxima semana primera etapa de intervención del Hospital Salvador B. Gautier
Santo Domingo.–The National Health Service (SNS) will begin next week the first stage of intervention at the Salvador B. Gautier Hospital, as part of the comprehensive renovation process carried out by the government of President Luis Abinader to strengthen the infrastructure and response capacity of this emblematic health center.
The executive director of the SNS, Dr. Julio César Landrón, reported that, once the mobilization plan for the Emergency area has been agreed upon and the relocation of the services that currently operate in that space has been completed, the work corresponding to this first phase will begin, guaranteeing the continuity of care for users.
The intervention contemplates the expansion of the Emergency area, as well as the renovation of consultation, hospitalization, confinement and surgery areas, works that will be carried out in stages to avoid the interruption of healthcare services.
Landrón reiterated that the Salvador B. Gautier Hospital is a national reference center and one of the main settings for the training of medical specialists in the country, so its modernization represents a priority for strengthening the Public Health Services Network.
Likewise, he announced that the center will be equipped with a modern magnetic resonator and angiotomography equipment for the Hemodynamics room, technology that will strengthen the diagnostic capacity and allow for more timely and higher quality care to be offered to patients.
With these actions, the SNS reaffirms its commitment to continue transforming the national hospital network by improving infrastructure, equipment and care conditions for the benefit of the entire population.

Landrón reiteró que el Hospital Salvador B. Gautier es uncentro de referencia nacionaly uno de los principales escenarios para la formación demédicos especialistasdel país, por lo que su modernización representa una prioridad para elfortalecimientode laRed Pública de Servicios de Salud. Asimismo, anunció que el centro será dotado de un modernoresonador magnético y un equipo de angiotomografíapara la sala de Hemodinamia, tecnología que fortalecerá la capacidad diagnóstica y permitirá ofrecer una atenciónmás oportuna y de mayor calidada los pacientes. Con estas acciones, el SNS reafirma su compromiso de continuar transformando la red hospitalaria nacional mediante lamejora de la infraestructura, elequipamientoy las condiciones de atención enbeneficiode toda la población.
