The Leader of Kyrgyzstan warmly congratulated the President of Uzbekistan on his birthday, sincerely wishing him good health, well-being and every success, as well as peace and prosperity to the brotherly people of Uzbekistan.

Sadyr Japarov highly praised the large-scale reforms being carried out in Uzbekistan, as well as Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s personal contribution to strengthening friendship, good-neighborliness and strategic partnership between the two countries.

The two leaders noted with satisfaction the growing momentum of mutually beneficial cooperation across all areas. Bilateral trade continues to grow steadily, while industrial cooperation projects are being implemented, including through the existing Joint Fund. Practical work on major regional infrastructure projects is also ongoing.

The Presidents emphasized the importance of thorough preparation of the agenda for the upcoming high-level summit, particularly in the trade and economic sphere.
