Damascus, July 23 (SANA)Director of the International Cooperation Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates,Qutaiba Qadish, held talks with on Thursday with anInternational Monetary Fund(IMF) mission headed by Ron van Rooden, Deputy Director of the IMF’s Middle East and Central Asia Department.

The two sides reviewed the outcomes of the IMF mission’s recent visit to Syria and explored the progress achieved in the country’s economic and financial sectors.

The discussions focused on ways to support economic stability and advance Syria’s recovery and development priorities.
