After the evaluation, experts will choose the top photographs to showcase the country in the international contest.

This year, 20 participants competed in the national contest stage, submitting 1,307 photographs of protected natural areas and other unique natural sites across Uzbekistan to Wikimedia Commons.

The impressive quality of the submitted works is evident, with 63 photographs from the contest already earning the Quality Image status on Wikimedia Commons.

Participants submitted photographs of various protected areas, including state nature reserves, national and nature parks, wildlife sanctuaries, natural monuments, scenic landscapes, and rare plant and animal species. All images are published under a free license, enabling their use on Wikipedia and in other educational, scientific, and outreach initiatives.

After completing the evaluation, the national jury will choose the top photographs to showcase Uzbekistan in the international Wiki Loves Earth contest.

The national stage winners will be announced once the jury finishes its work.
