Damascus, July 22 (SANA)Director of the Diplomatic Institute at theMinistry of Foreign Affairs and ExpatriatesYaser al-Jundi met on Wednesday withChina‘s Ambassador to Syria Shi Hongwei to discuss ways to enhance cooperation in diplomatic training and capacity building.

The meeting addressed prospects for cooperation in research and studies to develop diplomatic work and exchange expertise between the two sides, according to the ministry statement on Telegram.

On June 18, al-Jundi signed a memorandum of understanding with the Azerbaijani Development and Diplomacy Institute (IDD) to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise in diplomacy and international relations, and to develop capacity-building programs, diplomatic training andscientific research.
