From my interview today with Il Giornale 👇🏻 Cerno: In the security bill, you have provided for the rule that excludes the possibility of obtaining civil compensation for anyone who suffers damage while committing a crime. ✍🏻 «It is a common sense measure, to avoid the possibility that a person who defended himself could be convicted twice, also risking losing the fruit of his entire life's work and ending up broke. Translated: if you enter my house to rob me, kidnap me or attack me or my family and while you are doing so you suffer damage because I reacted, I will answer for any criminal liability but in any case you have no right to request any compensation in civil proceedings. Dalla mia intervista di oggi a Il Giornale 👇🏻 Cerno: Nel ddl sicurezza, avete previsto la norma che esclude la possibilità di ottenere un risarcimento civile a chi subisce un danno mentre sta commettendo un reato. ✍🏻 «È un provvedimento di buon senso, per scongiurare la possibilità che una persona che si è difesa possa essere condannata due volte, rischiando anche di perdere il frutto del lavoro di una vita intera e di finire sul lastrico. Tradotto: se entri in casa mia per rapinarmi, sequestrarmi o aggredire me o la mia famiglia e mentre lo stai facendo subisci un danno perché io ho reagito, io risponderò delle eventuali responsabilità penali ma tu in ogni caso non hai diritto a chiedere alcun risarcimento in sede civile.
