Minister for Finance, Economic Development, Climate Resilience and Social Security, Hon. Dr. Irving McIntyre, will present the 2026–2027 NationalBudget when Parliament convenes onTuesday, August 4, 2026.

During the sitting, the Minister will present the Estimates of Expenditure for the financial year ending June 30, 2027, for the approval of Parliament.

In keeping with parliamentary tradition at the opening of a new session, President of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Her Excellency Sylvanie Burton, will deliver the Presidential Address.

The sitting will begin at 10:00 a.m. and be carried live on theGovernment Information Service (GIS)and the DominicaBroadcasting Service (DBS).
