Kuwait City, July 21 (SANA)Kuwait’s military said on Tuesday its air defense systems were intercepting hostile missile and drone attacks over the country’s airspace.

In a statement posted on X, the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army said explosions that may be heard were the result of air defense systems intercepting the incoming attacks.

The military urged citizens and residents to follow safety instructions issued by the relevant authorities.

Earlier on Tuesday, Kuwait’s Ministry of Electricity said repeated Iranian attacks over the past four days had targeted power generation and water desalination facilities, causing fires and material damage.

Iran has continued launching missile and drone attacks against several regional and Arab countries, resulting in casualties and damage to critical infrastructure.F.J.
