Vladimir Putin met with Governor of the Jewish Autonomous Region Maria Kostyuk The governor presented a report on the socioeconomic development of the region: 🔹 the Jewish Autonomous Region has increased industrial production and investment in fixed assets, with 30 projects worth 200 billion rubles in total completed and four new enterprises opened last year; 🔹 logistics was one of the main growth drivers, including in particular the new highway bridge project across the Amur River to China; 🔹 the authorities focus particular attention on education: schools are undergoing major renovations, new educational facilities are opening, and teachers' wages are increased; 🔹 support measures for special military operation participants and their families and the commemoration of fallen soldiers were discussed as well.
