Amman/Manama, July 21 (SANA)Jordan and Bahrain said Tuesday their armed forces had intercepted Iranian drones and missiles targeting their territories, with both countries reporting no casualties or material damage as they maintained heightened military readiness.

Jordan’s Armed Forcessaid they neutralized five drones launched from Iran overnight and early Tuesday.A military source said the operation was carried out efficiently and in line with operational requirements and established defensive procedures, adding that no casualties or material damage were reported.The source said the armed forces continue to monitor the kingdom’s airspace and remain fully prepared to respond to any aerial threat in accordance with the military’s rules of engagement.
