In relation to the Ministry of Women and Children's Affairs, I joined a discussion on the progress of the projects implemented on the 2026 budget allocation and the 2027 budget proposals at the President's Office this morning (20). I examined the progress of the programs in place to provide a monthly stipend for the care of the children who lost their parents due to Cyclone Ditwa and to identify the vulnerable children in the society and to rescue them from that situation, emphasizing the need for an accurate data system in these activities and also mentioned that the 2027 budget allocation is expected to be made based on that data. Also, I pointed out the need to implement the nutritional food allowance for pregnant mothers under proper supervision, aiming to ensure the nutrition of the mothers, not as another money giving project. I participated in the discussion held at the President's Office this morning (20) to review the progress of the programs implemented under the budget funds allocated to the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs for the year 2026 and the budget proposals for the year 2027. The progress of the work plans carried out to take care of the children who lost their parents due to Cyclone Titwa and to identify the vulnerable children in the society and to rescue them from that situation were examined here. Also, I pointed out the need to implement the nutritional food allowance given to pregnant mothers not just as another cash assistance scheme, but to ensure the nutrition of the mothers, under proper supervision. Participated in a discussion at the Presidential Secretariat this morning (20) to review the progress of projects implemented under the 2026 budget allocations for the Ministry of Women and Child Affairs and to consider the Ministry's budget proposals for 2027. During the meeting, we reviewed the progress of the program providing a monthly allowance to children who lost their parents as a result of Cyclone Ditwah, as well as programs aimed at identifying vulnerable children within society and assisting them in escaping such circumstances. I also emphasized the importance of maintaining an accurate data system and stated that allocations under the 2027 Budget are expected to be made on the basis of that data. I further stressed that the nutritional food allowance for pregnant mothers should not be treated as merely another cash transfer scheme, but should instead be implemented under proper supervision with the objective of ensuring adequate maternal nutrition.
