I am grateful to the Secretary of the Holy See, Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher and Pope Leo XIV for supporting Ukraine. The delegation of the Holy See was in Kyiv during the massive Russian attack on our people. Russia does not want to stop these attacks, but that is why it is so important to continue working for peace. And one of the formats that could contribute to this is a meeting at the level of leaders. I thank the Vatican for its willingness to accept it and continue to make efforts so that such a meeting can take place. They discussed the activities of the Church in Ukraine. We greatly appreciate our clergy, which supports both our soldiers and civilians, helps people to endure in this difficult time. They also talked about Ukraine's path to the EU. It is important that the Vatican supports our European choice and sees that Ukraine is doing everything necessary to become a full member of the European Union. I thank His Holiness and the Vatican for their constant prayers and support for Ukraine and our people.

Вдячний секретарю Святого Престолу, архієпископу Полу Річарду Галлагеру та Папі Римському Леву XIV за підтримку України. Делегація Святого Престолу була в Києві саме під час масованого російського удару по наших людях. Росія не хоче припиняти ці атаки, але саме тому так важливо продовжувати працювати заради миру. І один із форматів, який міг би цьому сприяти, – зустріч на рівні лідерів. Дякую Ватикану за готовність її прийняти й надалі докладати зусиль, щоб така зустріч могла відбутися. Обговорили діяльність Церкви в Україні. Дуже цінуємо наше духовенство, яке підтримує і наших воїнів, і цивільних, допомагає людям вистояти в цей складний час. Також говорили про шлях України до ЄС. Важливо, що Ватикан підтримує наш європейський вибір і бачить, що Україна робить усе необхідне, щоб стати повноправним членом Євросоюзу. Дякую Його Святості й Ватикану за постійні молитви, підтримку України та нашого народу.
