Reuters, quoting local authorities, reported that 930 people have died from the virus as of July 18, based on an update released on Sunday.

Earlier this month, theWorld Health Organizationwarned that the outbreak, caused by the Bundibugyo strain of the Ebola virus, is spreading at the fastest pace ever recorded for this variant.
