Péter Magyar in Parliament: We can use the power of the state for our common future
In his speech before the agenda, the Prime Minister detailed what conditions are necessary to assert Hungarian interests and what steps the government has taken so far.
A functioning and decent state is the first condition for Hungarian interests to prevail, said Prime Minister Péter Magyar in Parliament. He added that, for this reason, the government amended the Basic Law, which opened the way for the prosecution, courts, Constitutional Court and Court of Auditors to operate, which protect the law, public property and the rights of citizens.
The second condition for the promotion of the Hungarian interest is a strong, fair and sustainable economy - continued the Prime Minister, who said that an investment serves the Hungarian interest if the worker earns a fair wage, if the settlement develops, the Hungarian entrepreneur gets orders, and the Hungarian water, air, land and nature do not pay the price of the profit. In connection with this, he listed the planned measures of the following weeks: the termination of the tax avoidance practice of trusts, the doubling of the air pollution fee, the introduction of environmental protection rules and tax changes affecting large water users and polluting companies. All major investments require public data, real impact studies, strong authorities and meaningful participation of local communities, stated Péter Magyar.
The prime minister mentioned knowledge as the third condition for the promotion of Hungarian interests, according to whom the future of Hungary already lies in schools, universities, workshops, research institutes and Hungarian families. The future of no Hungarian child can depend on the place of residence or the wallet of their parents - Péter Magyar referred to the decision on the HUF 100,000 start-up subsidy.
The fourth condition for the promotion of the Hungarian interest is a safe, dignified daily life, continued the prime minister. To do this, Hungarian public services must be rebuilt: education, healthcare, emergency services, public safety, fire protection, the social care system, child protection, care for the elderly, support for the disabled, rail and bus transport, postal services, drinking water supply, environmental protection, waste management, the system of housing subsidies, our cultural institutions, the public administration and the functioning of local governments, the Prime Minister listed.
In his speech before the agenda, Péter Magyar named the security of the nation and the predictable international situation as the fifth condition of the Hungarian interest. Hungary's strength comes from its own national defense capabilities, its European and Atlantic alliance, and its sober diplomacy, he added, and continued by saying that the security, language rights, prosperity and cultural heritage of the Hungarian communities across the border are also a common national matter.
The sixth condition for the Hungarian interest to prevail is national unity - concluded the list. This requires mutual respect, common constitutional frameworks and recognition and acceptance of the dignity of the other Hungarian person. Therefore, the prime minister asked the government and opposition representatives to consider the presidential institution of the republic, the independence of public law institutions, the safety of our children, the protection of public property, the future of education and Hungary's international security as matters in which party political interests should be subordinated to Hungarian interests.

A magyar érdek érvényesülésének második feltétele az erős, tisztességes és fenntartható gazdaság – folytatta a kormányfő, aki szerint egy beruházás akkor szolgálja a magyar érdeket, ha a dolgozó tisztességesen keres, ha a település fejlődik, a magyar vállalkozó megrendelésekhez jut, és nem a magyar víz, levegő, föld és a természet fizeti meg a profit árát. Ehhez kapcsolódóan felsorolta a következő hetek tervezett intézkedéseit: a bizalmi vagyonkezelők adóelkerülési gyakorlatának megszüntetését, a levegőterhelési díj megduplázását, a nagy vízfelhasználókat és a szennyező vállalatokat érintő környezetvédelmi szabályok és adóváltozások bevezetését. Minden nagyberuházásnál nyilvános adatokra, valódi hatástanulmányokra, erős hatóságokra és a helyi közösségek érdemi részvételére van szükség – jelentette ki Magyar Péter. A tudást említette a magyar érdek érvényesülésének harmadik feltételeként a miniszterelnök, aki szerint Magyarország jövője már ott van az iskolákban, az egyetemeken, a műhelyekben, a kutatóintézetekben és a magyar családokban. Egyetlen magyar gyermek jövője sem függhet a szülei lakóhelyétől vagy pénztárcájától – utalt Magyar Péter a százezer forintos iskolakezdési támogatásról született döntésre. A magyar érdek érvényesülésének negyedik feltétele a biztonságos, emberhez méltó mindennapi élet – folytatta a kormányfő. Ehhez újjá kell építeni a magyar közszolgáltatásokat: az oktatást, az egészségügyet, a mentőszolgálatot, a közbiztonságot, a tűzvédelmet, a szociális ellátórendszert, a gyermekvédelmet, az idősellátást, a fogyatékossággal élők támogatását, a vasúti és autóbuszos közlekedést, a postai szolgáltatásokat, az ivóvízellátást, a környezetvédelmet, a hulladékgazdálkodást, a lakhatási támogatások rendszerét, a kulturális intézményeinket, a közigazgatást és az önkormányzatok működését is – sorolta a miniszterelnök. A nemzet biztonságát és a kiszámítható nemzetközi helyzetet nevezte a magyar érdek ötödik feltételének napirend előtti felszólalásában Magyar Péter. Magyarország erejét saját honvédelmi képességei, európai és atlanti szövetsége, józan diplomáciája adja – tette hozzá, majd azzal folytatta, hogy a határon túli magyar közösségek biztonsága, nyelvi jogai, szülőföldön való boldogulása és kulturális öröksége szintén közös nemzeti ügy. A hatodik feltétel a magyar érdek érvényesüléséhez a nemzeti egység – fejezte be a listát a kormányfő. Ehhez kölcsönös tiszteletre, közös alkotmányos keretekre és a másik magyar ember méltóságának elismerésére, elfogadására van szükség. Ezért a miniszterelnök arra kérte a kormánypárti és az ellenzéki képviselőket, hogy a köztársasági elnöki intézményt, a közjogi intézmények függetlenségét, gyermekeink biztonságát, a közvagyon védelmét, az oktatás jövőjét és Magyarország nemzetközi biztonságát tekintsék olyan ügyeknek, amelyekben a pártpolitikai érdek alárendelendő a magyar érdekeknek.
