In my reply in the National Assembly today, I explained that the eFishery case was an alleged corporate fraud that also ensnared the world's leading investors such as Temasek, SoftBank and 42XFund. KWAP is not the only investor affected. Although the investment losses have been taken into account in 2024, KWAP still recorded a net profit of RM12.9 billion with a growth in fund value of 9.3%, thus reflecting professional and prudent fund management. Through the efforts of GEAR-uP, KWAP together with other GLICs will continue to increase investment in potential local companies such as ZUS Coffee, Bateriku and Lapasar in order to generate sustainable returns, strengthen the national economy and create more opportunities for Malaysians. #MalaysiaMADANI #MADANIwork #YakinMADANI #ECONOMYMADANI

Dalam jawapan saya di Dewan Negara hari ini, saya menjelaskan bahawa kes eFishery merupakan dakwaan penipuan korporat yang turut menjerat pelabur terkemuka dunia seperti Temasek, SoftBank dan 42XFund. KWAP bukan satu-satunya pelabur yang terkesan. Walaupun kerugian pelaburan itu telah diambil kira pada 2024, KWAP tetap mencatat keuntungan bersih RM12.9 bilion dengan pertumbuhan nilai dana sebanyak 9.3%, sekali gus mencerminkan pengurusan dana yang profesional dan berhemat.
