Astana, July 19 (SANA)Syrian national teamathleteMarwa al-Shalabiwon her second bronze medal at the2026 Ju-Jitsu Asian Championshipon Sunday, finishing third in the women’s contact event over 70 kg.

The medal follows al-Shalabi’s bronze in the fighting event in the same weight category on Saturday, marking her second podium finish at the tournament.

The 10th Ju-Jitsu Asian Championship (for adults and U21) and the 3rd Ju-Jitsu Asian Youth Championship (for U16-U18) are taking place in Almaty, Kazakhstan, running from July 13 to July 19, 2026
