Daraa, July 19 (SANA)Israeli occupation forces entered theWadi al-Raqadarea in the Yarmouk Basin of westernDaraaon Sunday before withdrawing after conducting movements inside the area.

SANA’s reporter in Daraa said the force consisted of two military vehicles.

Earlier on Sunday, Israeli forces entered the village of al-Samdaniyah al-Sharqiyah in the northernQuneitra countrysideand fired several shells near the town of al-Hamidiyah and the city of al-Salam, with no casualties reported.

Israel has continued to violate the1974 Disengagement Agreementthrough repeated incursions into southernSyria, as well as raids, arrests, land bulldozing and shelling targeting civilians.

Syria has repeatedly called for the withdrawal ofIsraeli occupation forcesfrom Syrian territory, stressing that all Israeli measures are null and void under international law and carry no legal effect. It has also urged the international community to uphold its responsibilities and compel Israel to fully withdraw from southern Syria.kA.ABD
