During the dialogue, the parties discussed key areas of social protection reform, the outcomes of joint projects, and prospects for further cooperation.

Agency Director Mansurbek Olloyorov emphasized the importance of the results achieved in areas such as developing the state social insurance system, establishing standards for care services, implementing the CHANGE project to prepare the National Strategy, and introducing the Gender Equality Seal initiative to ensure gender equality in public institutions.

UNDP representatives highly commended the reforms underway in Uzbekistan to modernize the social protection system, advance its digital transformation, and introduce international best practices. It was noted that support for these areas would continue consistently.

During the talks, the parties identified several priority areas for further cooperation. Particular attention was given to the use of artificial intelligence technologies in public policymaking, their integration into the social registry and case management system, the development of long-term care for older persons and persons with disabilities, and the expansion of opportunities in inclusive education and employment.

The parties also discussed improving the state social insurance system, conducting relevant research, and strengthening the Agency’s analytical capacity.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to elevate their strategic partnership in social protection to a new level and to expand cooperation in areas such as digital transformation, analytical research, the development of the care system, gender equality, inclusion, and the improvement of state social insurance.
