Presidente Abinader entrega 112 apartamentos en Boca Chica fortaleciendo el acceso a viviendas dignas
Boca Chica.-President Luis Abinaderinaugurated this Saturday the Nueva Esperanza Residential, a housing project that delivers 112 apartments to families in Boca Chica, as part of the decent housing plan promoted by the Dominican Government.
The central speech was given by the Minister of Housing and Buildings (Mived), Víctor “Ito” Bisonó, who highlighted that with this delivery, 890 apartments have been delivered, meaning more than 2,600 people have benefited.
He announced that the Government's goal is to deliver 4,000 housing units before the end of the year. “This is a dream come true for many families.”
Bisonó emphasized that these actions contribute to continuing to reduce the country's housing deficit and also highlighted that more than 58% of the apartments delivered are owned by a woman.
“With these homes, families begin to build their assets and go from uncertainty to the reality of having their own, safe home,” he concluded.
Meanwhile, the vice president of the Reserve Bank, Isidro García, pointed out that this project represents hope for the inhabitants of Residencial Nueva Esperanza.
“Banreservas' commitment is to strengthen Dominican families,” said García, who recalled that the bank has financed more than 18,000 homes for a higher amount in financing tickets of about RD 22,000 million.
“With this delivery, overcrowding and uncertainty ends for many families, who can now enjoy their own decent home,” highlighted the vice president of the bank.
The Residencial Nueva Esperanza has apartments distributed in modern four-level buildings, designed with comfortable spaces and common areas that promote the well-being of its residents.
The apartments have a balcony, gallery, living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry area, three bedrooms and a bathroom. They also have parking, a play area and a fence to protect the entire area.
This delivery is part of an ambitious national housing construction program carried out by the Government through Mived.
With this inauguration, President Abinader reaffirms the commitment of his management to the housing sector, prioritizing the areas of greatest need and promoting orderly urban development in the municipality of Boca Chica.

El Residencial Nueva Esperanza cuenta con apartamentos distribuidos en modernosedificios de cuatro niveles, diseñados con espacios confortables yáreas comunesque promueven elbienestar de sus residentes. Los apartamentos cuentan con balcón, galería, sala, comedor, cocina, área de lavado, tres habitaciones y un baño. Además tienen parqueos, área de juegos y una verja para proteger toda el área. Esta entrega forma parte de unambicioso programa de construcción de viviendasa nivel nacional que ejecuta el Gobierno a través del Mived. Con esta inauguración, el presidente Abinader reafirma elcompromiso de su gestión con el sector de vivienda, priorizando las zonas de mayor necesidad y fomentando eldesarrollo urbano ordenadoen el municipio de Boca Chica.
