I handed over the national flag to Leyanis Pérez and Luis Orta, on behalf of the 504 athletes who will represent Cuba in the Central American and Caribbean Games #SantoDomingo2026 . They are young people who have trained amid blackouts and shortages due to the weight of the US blockade on the town of which they are a part, and yet, they do not give up. They are already champions. Let's compete with our souls, guys!

Son jóvenes que han entrenado entre apagones y escasez por el peso del bloqueo de EE. UU. sobre el pueblo del que forman parte, y aún así, no se rinden. Ya son campeones. ¡A competir con el alma, muchachos!
