Amman, July 18 (SANA)Jordan’s armed forces said on Saturday that its air defense systems intercepted and shot down 10Iranian missilestargeting the kingdom, with no casualties or material damage reported.

The military said in a statement, quoted by the Jordan News Agency (Petra), that the interceptions caused neither injuries nor property damage.

It added that army engineering teams were deployed to the sites where missile debris fell, securing the areas and handling the remnants in line with technical and security procedures.

On Friday, theJordanian Armed Forcessaid they had intercepted and destroyed three Iranian missiles that entered the country’s airspace while targeting Jordan.kA.MZN
