El gobernador ha señalado que, fruto de las reuniones que hemos tenido con distintos gobernadores de todo Chile, en AGORECHI, se pudo avanzar en el uso de los fondos deemergencia. Algunas regiones ya lo tenían agotado por emergencias anteriores, como es la Región de Biobío. Se han hecho los enlaces para que desde Hacienda y desde Interior, eso se pueda ir resolviendo, y en los otros casos los gobernadores han estado muy bien dispuestos junto con sus gobiernos regionales a colaborar”.El Mandatario ha encabezado múltiples reuniones de coordinación y preparación las últimas jornadas para que las diversas instituciones anticiparan posibles puntos críticos y, a la vez, disponer de todos los recursos posibles para coordinar la respuesta del Estado ante las diversas afectaciones.Entre otras, ha considerado reuniones de coordinación con ministros y delegados presidenciales para instruir diversas medidas de apoyo. También lo hizo con gobernadores en las regiones Metropolitana y de Valparaíso, así como con alcaldes de comunas como Maipú, La Florida, Pudahuel y San Bernardo, visitando obras y conociendo las medidas de mitigación que han impulsado.También ha sostenido encuentros con representantes del Ejército, Armada, y Fuerza Aérea de Chile para inspeccionar y mandatar el uso de diversos recursos físicos y humanos para ir en rescate o apoyo con insumos para superar la emergencia.
