I am grateful to all the Americans who are currently working on a bill to increase sanctions and other pressure on Russia for this war. Senator Lindsey Graham worked very hard to craft a strong bill, and he and I discussed it during our meetings. I remember how important this was to him, and it could really increase the tools available to force Russia into diplomacy and peace. Everything that reduces Russia's income also reduces the time of its war against Ukraine and against life itself. I really appreciate that the White House sees the need for this bill. The President of America is the very person whose power can bring peace closer. Anything that really adds strength for peace is useful. Thank you!
