HE The President of the Republic, José Antonio Kast, traveled to the Biobío region to supervise on the ground the mitigation and support work for people affected by the frontal system that affects the central-southern area of the country. Upon his arrival in the region, the Head of State held a coordination meeting with regional authorities, representatives of the Armed Forces, Carabineros, PDI, seremis and parliamentarians, to respond to the various effects that people have suffered in different parts of the Biobio. The President has led multiple meetings of coordination and preparation in recent days so that the various institutions could anticipate possible critical points and, at the same time, have all possible resources to coordinate the State's response to the various effects. Among others, it has considered coordination meetings with ministers and presidential delegates to instruct various support measures. He also did so with governors in the Metropolitan and Valparaíso regions, as well as with mayors of communes such as Maipú, La Florida, Pudahuel and San Bernardo, visiting works and learning about the mitigation measures they have promoted. He has also held meetings with representatives of the Chilean Army, Navy, and Air Force to inspect and mandate the use of various physical and human resources to go to rescue or support with supplies to overcome the emergency.

También lo hizo con gobernadores en las regiones Metropolitana y de Valparaíso, así como con alcaldes de comunas como Maipú, La Florida, Pudahuel y San Bernardo, visitando obras y conociendo las medidas de mitigación que han impulsado.También ha sostenido encuentros con representantes del Ejército, Armada, y Fuerza Aérea de Chile para inspeccionar y mandatar el uso de diversos recursos físicos y humanos para ir en rescate o apoyo con insumos para superar la emergencia.
