Meeting with Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky. The first meeting of the new government has already taken place, and today we discussed the steps that will be taken in the near future and work with Ukrainian partners to fulfill our agreements to support Ukraine. The Prime Minister has started the preparation of the government program, which will be presented to society and parliamentarians. The approach to management will be as pragmatic as possible: the personal responsibility of each minister and all heads of central government bodies for the implementation of those tasks that are prioritized. Serhii has the full opportunity to form such a government policy and such a team of the central executive power that will be able to strengthen our state with additional forces. The appointment of acting ministers of foreign affairs of Ukraine and defense of Ukraine was also discussed with the Prime Minister. A critical priority is preparing for the heating season. In particular, Serhii informed that the independent supervisory board of Naftogaz appointed Serhiy Fedorenko, a professional, to manage the company for a certain period: he went through the transformation of Ukrnafta together with Serhiy Koretsky. This was the way to successfully clean all internal processes in the company from predatory oligarchic influence, and thanks to this, Ukrnafta became one of the most profitable state-owned companies. The work to restore the energy infrastructure after the Russian strikes is also ongoing. Today, the Russians again attacked Naftogaz facilities - unfortunately, there is significant damage. We discussed with the Prime Minister what steps are needed in such conditions, and it is important that, despite the constant Russian attacks, we implement everything we agreed on to prepare for winter.
