Five Palestinians killed in Israeli strikes on Gaza
Occupied Jerusalem, July 17 (SANA)Five Palestinians, including two women, were killed and several others injured in Israeli strikes across Gaza Strip on Friday, according to Palestinian medical sources.
The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that one person was killed and three others wounded when Israeli forces struck a shelter housing displaced people in the al-Sawarha area, west of the Nuseirat refugee camp in centralGaza.
Medical sources said al-Awda Hospital also received the body of one victim and four injured people after an Israeli strike targeted a gathering of Palestinians near Ghurab Roundabout in the New Camp area of central Gaza.
In Gaza City, one Palestinian was killed and many others wounded in an airstrike on an apartment on al-Yarmouk Street.
A woman was killed after an Israeli drone dropped a bomb near Abu Tammam School in Beit Lahia, while another woman died from wounds sustained in Israeli gunfire southwest of Khan Younis.
Separately, a Palestinian man was wounded by Israeli gunfire in occupied Jerusalem, while another was arrested.
Earlier on Friday, several Palestinians suffered tear gas inhalation during Israeli raids in Ramallah, and three others were arrested in Nablus.
According to the latest figures, the Israeli war on Gaza has killed 73,250 Palestinians and injured 173,751 others since Oct. 7, 2023.
