According to the National Statistics Committee, this visit is part of the project to modernize Uzbekistan’s statistical infrastructure.

The National Statistics Committee is holding working meetings to discuss the project’s current status, completed work, and upcoming implementation stages. These meetings are attended by responsible officials from the Committee and representatives of the Korean delegation.

The discussion addresses the project’s progress, current technical and organizational challenges, enhancements to the statistical data collection system, and future tasks.

Special focus is on implementing the Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing system (CATI) along with developing a consultative framework, providing professional development for specialists, and expanding expert support.

The visit also covers discussions on training programs, experience-sharing initiatives, and planned future collaborations for the second half of 2026.

The working meetings focus on ensuring the project is implemented on time and with high quality, integrating modern technologies into statistical processes, and enhancing bilateral cooperation.
