He met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Hakan Fidan, and awarded him the Order of Merit, II degree. I am grateful to Turkey and the minister personally for the work to bring peace closer. Today we discussed the situation in diplomacy and steps that can intensify the work to achieve peace. I also informed about the situation on the battlefield, and the minister spoke about his diplomatic contacts at various levels. Of course, they also discussed bilateral relations and the implementation of the agreement on the free trade zone between Ukraine and Turkey. We expect that trade between our countries will only increase. Thank you for your visit and willingness to cooperate and bring peace closer.

Зустрівся з міністром закордонних справ Туреччини Хаканом Фіданом і відзначив його орденом «За заслуги» ІІ ступеня. Вдячний Туреччині та міністру особисто за роботу для наближення миру. Сьогодні ми обговорили ситуацію в дипломатії та кроки, які можуть активізувати роботу для досягнення миру. Я також поінформував про ситуацію на полі бою, а міністр розповів про свої дипломатичні контакти на різних рівнях. Звісно, обговорили також двосторонні відносини й реалізацію угоди про зону вільної торгівлі між Україною та Туреччиною. Розраховуємо що товарообіг між нашими державами буде тільки збільшуватися. Дякую за візит і готовність співпрацювати й наближати мир.
