The INVALSI 2026 data say something simple and beautiful: over 520,000 children who risked leaving school did not do so. School dropout was at 11.5% in 2022. Today it is at 7.3%. We have exceeded, years early, the EU target of 9% for 2030 and are ahead of Spain (12.8%) and Germany (13.1%). But we have not lowered the bar to retain more: the number of those who graduate without adequate skills is decreasing and excellence is growing. The tools we have built work: tutor teacher, South Agenda, Estate Plan, Caivano Decree, investments in digital and STEM. The South is catching up, the gaps are narrowing. 👉🏻 Continue reading here 👈🏻

I dati INVALSI 2026 dicono una cosa semplice, e bella: oltre 520.000 ragazzi che rischiavano di lasciare la scuola, non l'hanno fatto. L'abbandono scolastico era all’11,5% nel 2022. Oggi è al 7,3%. Abbiamo superato, con anni di anticipo, l’obiettivo UE del 9% per il 2030 e siamo davanti a Spagna (12,8%) e Germania (13,1%). Ma non abbiamo abbassato l’asticella per trattenere di più: scende il numero di chi arriva al diploma senza competenze adeguate e crescono le eccellenze. Funzionano gli strumenti che abbiamo costruito: docente tutor, Agenda Sud, Piano Estate, Decreto Caivano, investimenti su digitale e STEM.
