Playing atGhazwan Abu Zeid Hallin Homs, Ahli Aleppo built a commanding 53-37 halftime lead before holding off a second-half fightback from the hosts to secure an eight-point victory.

The best-of-five semifinal is now tied 1-1, with the first team to win three games advancing to the league final.

Homs Al-Fidaa won the opening game of the series inAleppo88-74.
