University Rector Bakhshillo Khodjayev briefed media representatives on the admission campaign’s progress, new educational programs, measures to improve educational quality, the integration of theory and practice, the development of scientific and innovative activities, advanced training for faculty members, and the expansion of international cooperation.

As part of implementing the Head of State’s decree, a modern management model has been introduced at the university. A Professorial Council has been established, under which the Academic Integrity Committee and the Research Committee have begun operating.

In cooperation with UNESCO, an international mentoring program in digital law has been launched. Implementation of joint educational programs, academic mobility projects, and double-degree programs with leading universities in Europe and Asia has begun.

During the press conference, the university representatives highlighted its success in commercializing scientific innovations. Notably, they established the spin-off company TSUL Professional Services and jointly opened the Center for Digital Forensics and Research with Indian partners.

The university has established cooperation with IT Park, Startup Garage, Aloqa Ventures, Yoshlar Venture and Tuzuk AI.

The VR Court Room virtual judicial module, the Proctorio online proctoring system, the Turnitin plagiarism detection platform, and an AI-based knowledge assessment module have been integrated into the educational process.

As part of the Pro Bono program, 65 outreach receptions were held, during which about 1,000 citizens received free legal assistance.

During the press conference, special focus was given to the university’s standings in international rankings. In the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2026, it was placed 401st globally. Notably, in the “Quality Education” category, the university advanced nearly 200 positions, reaching among the top 200 worldwide.

In the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings, the university ranked 181st globally and first among higher education institutions in Uzbekistan. In addition, the university placed 123rd in the WURI ranking and 388th in the RUR University Ranking (Teaching).

The university became the only higher education institution in Asia to be shortlisted for the 2026 Green Gown Awards international prize.
