Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi Receives Jordanian Foreign Minister in Washington ………. Prime Minister Ali Faleh Al-Zaidi received Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi today, Wednesday, at his residence in Washington, D.C., on the sidelines of his official visit to the United States. During the meeting, the Prime Minister received an official invitation from His Majesty King Abdullah II to visit the Kingdom. During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to further develop bilateral relations and enhance cooperation across various economic and development sectors. They also discussed moving forward with the Basra–Aqaba Oil Pipeline Project and completing the electricity interconnection project between the two countries, in a manner that fulfills the aspirations and serves the interests of the two brotherly peoples. The meeting also addressed regional and international developments, with the two sides exchanging views on key issues of mutual interest and emphasizing the importance of strengthening security and stability in the region by supporting diplomatic solutions to conflicts. For his part, the Jordanian Foreign Minister conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Abdullah II to the Prime Minister and affirmed his country’s commitment to expanding partnership opportunities and further developing relations between the two countries.
